Christmas needs a grand celebration, because it is an important holiday celebrated by many people all over the world. Christmas is not just a one-day holiday, in fact, people start preparing for it as early as the first week of December. From baking holiday specials and cakes to decorating houses and erecting Christmas trees, this joyous holiday brings joy to everyone. Christmas parties with friends and family are also the highlight of this holiday season. If you plan to host a Christmas party this time, don’t think about everything on the menu. In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of sage, 1 tablespoon of five-spice powder, 1 pinch of nutmeg powder, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce and salt according to taste. To make the whole spice powder, crush cinnamon, cardamom and cloves together. Mix everything well to make a thick mixture. Finally, add 3-4 tablespoons of orange juice and mix well. Your marinade is now ready.

Take a clean whole chicken, wash it properly and pat dry. Now take ½ cup of room temperature butter, add ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, and some salt. Mix well to prepare a creamy butter mixture.

Fill half of this mixture in the chicken skin correctly. Massage the chicken with the remaining mixture and spread it appropriately.

For the second round of marinating, apply the barbecue marinade we prepared on the chicken. In addition, cut one onion into 4-5 large pieces, and cut 2 carrots into long pieces. Spread them also in the remaining marinade.

Place the marinated chicken on a greased baking pan. Place the coated onions and carrots on both sides. Slide the tray into the oven and bake at 220 degrees for about 15 minutes. Now lower the temperature to 180 degrees and bake again for 20-30 minutes. Once the chicken has formed a golden coating on it, take it out of the oven.

To make the sauce, add 1 cup of red wine and 4 tablespoons of orange juice in a saucepan. Bring it to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of frozen butter. Turn off the heat and stir well. The addition of butter gives the red wine sauce a creamy texture.

Cut the cooked chicken into 4-5 large pieces and place them on a plate. Add roasted vegetables on the side. Drizzle the sauce on a plate and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
